Pizzeria Gemelli in Innsbruck

A “no frills” restaurant. Not very classy or sophisticated in appearance. However the service was very efficient and friendly and most importantly; the food was delicious.

For an italian restaurant, it really lacks allot. the place is really compact, feels optimkzed for profit rather than pleasure. Tables are really close one to another, seemed crowded, a bit neglected ... but yeah i went there for the food.Food which left me dissapointed. I ordered a pizza Diavola. What came was a dish soaked in oil and grese with little to no texture or taste. To top it all off, the restaurant doesn't have in their menu a range of sauces for the pizzas and when inquired the waiter for one tomato sauce i was given a really cheap ketchup packet which actually cost 2.5 euro. No thank you.I was originally going for a 1 star review, but i had a change of faith because of the apfelstrudel mit vanillasauce. Onlu that dessert deserves a review on its own. It was beautiful, tasty, flavorful, austrian to its core. And the sauce? Oh boy ... the sauce, like your childhood vanilla pudding. It brings back nice memories from when things were easier in life.

Worst service, they said that they accept bank cards beforehand, but when we tried to pay, they said that their machine is not working.So they said, "go to ATM and withdraw money"About food, schnitzel is okay, not really good, Spezi - is something like Fanta mixed with Cola instead of Spezi.Also "Service payment" - 1 eur. p.p. is included automatically.Not recommended.

Bad food has built up a foothold in the knowledge that the numerous tourists only come once anyway. One is friendly there only for tips.

We entered the restaurant having few pretensions being tired and not wanting to look for anything else. The dishes are served directly on the table, without a cover or paper napkins, there is a sort of "centerpiece" in fabric that probably is not changed between one service since ours was evidently stained.We ordered two Viennese with chips, nothing exceptional but still good. After they brought the dishes, however, the service staff disappeared from the room and we waited a long time to intercept a waiter to ask for dessert. We ordered a cheese strudel with vanilla and a sacher, we were instead brought a "floating" apple strudel in vanilla, evidently badly heated in the oven given the hot temperature of the dish and some parts of the cold strudel, and a dry sacher cake and insipid. With 1 liter of tap water the final bill was € 44.I advise entering only if you are really hungry and tired and not to take sweets. There are clubs in Innsbruck where you eat a lot better for this amount.

Food is decent, but it is not as cheap as it should. My Schnitzel Vienna had too much oil and the pasta of a friend was undercooked (she asked them to replace it and it came back with the same problem). Place is average size and it was crowded. There is a €1 coperto per person.

Great location with a great view of the Golden Roof! Friendly staff and the pizza was one of the best I have ever eaten! They are also cheaper in price than other restaurants in this great location. Gemelli top! Definitely come back😆😋

Horror.Should actually be closed immediatelyEat ok but the service is extremely arrogant, rude and even naughty.Food was not brought together (10 minutes difference) + still wrong food, but exchange not possible.Cleanliness is also written very small!I recommend everyone to go around there

One of the worst restaurant in Innsbruck. Usually I never enter an "italian" restaurant abroad, but It was the only one still open at 18:00 on 24th Dec. We were four people, from the moment we set down, the waiter asked us to order food every 30 seconds but they gave us just two menù. We wanted to take some coffee, chocolate ecc to warm up in a rainy day: even if there weren't people waiting outside we were obliged to take also something to eat, otherwise we had to leave the restaurant. So we ordered also a Pizza Margherita (8,50€), the frozen pizza you can find in a discount Is almost the same thing, maybe better. The menù Is full of grammatical errors. They should change name: Insult to Italy and Italian cuisine.

Looking for a good pizza, my girlfriend and I ended up in the star rated pizzeria ... menus dirty and incomplete. I ordered a Coke which came quite quickly but without carbon dioxide which is not possible at all. My selected pizza was half raw and topped with no love. Cheapest cold cuts from the discounter 🤮. I only advise everyone not to visit this grubby restaurant

A normal place for the city center to eat pizza and strudel. The prices are average. Eating at 4. Service for 4+.

Local old, battered and dirty, restricted menu and ridiculous, abundant but of poor quality almost inedible, the dishes are rubbish immense and would not even eat the bin of the damp, tasteless and heated pasta, it seemed that someone had thrown into it .A real insult to Italian cuisine, sky-high prices, the cost far exceeds the quality of the dishes and service, in practice a real disgusting! I forced myself not to throw up!

The pizza crust is thin and tastes good, the mixed salad is coleslaw, beans, corn and lettuce. I had a good experience with the restaurant.

Worst food and service I've ever had. Pizza was barely edible. Charged us 4 euros for tap water and 2 euros for a couple of slices of salami on a cheese pizza. Not recommended. Eat anywhere else, there are so many better options in Innsbruck, I regret taking a chance here- they were empty for a reason!

I was eating at the pizzeria twins over the weekend. Although the restaurant was full, I was able to find a table and eat a great second course that I recommend (schnitzel with potatoes) in full rush hour. Despite the rushing of the rush hour, the very young waitresses were of an incredible availability and kindness! I will be back for sure and I recommend it for the friendliness, kindness and excellent cuisine.

We stumbled upon this place for a great dinner on Christmas night. The regular sized pizza’s are plentiful and the lasagna is great. Hope to be back!

Food was okay. The service was awful. They took ages to serve the food and the drinks. When we went to pay they said we could only pay cash (although they were signs on the entrance door indicating you can pay with card and they never mentioned anything at the beginning). I don’t recommend the restaurant the service was so bad.

Food was anything but good. A simple spaghetti carbonara became a disaster. To this very "cost-efficient" ingredients were used.

Well...the food is eatable. We had Cordon Blue - unfortunatelly with the cheapest ham inside... Toilets are bad - not the worst but bad. Everything is...well used too much... Prices are not bad.

Restaurant in the historic center, anything but Italian. The sign in Italian should remove it with screwdrivers because it is an insult to the kitchen that Italian really is. If you are not able to do your job, look for another one.Frozen pizzas heated at the moment and almost raw. Prices expensive, practically a bad luck. Recommended only if you are starving.I am gracious and I give you 2 stars just for the service because the waitress knew a little Italian and the beer was good. If not, I would give you a number below zero if Google allowed it.

Food and service was tolerable o.k., if you no high demands. The tables and the chairs in the outdoor area were dirty and on the visit of the toilet you should do without in your own interest. ATTENTION - no bank cards are accepted, but this is not stated or written before. At my request to send the restaurant manager or the management to me, they were denied. Conclusion: location top-the rest you should forget us.

Wine tastes like water and food tastes like sh*t. Stay away, find another place!

Food was not great, the pizzas were rather tasteless though the location was perfect and atmosphere was OK. I would come by in good weather and eat outside. Not my first choice throughout Innsbruck

Good portions, nice staff and reasonable prices. Lokal is located in the center of the city. Always worth a visit and recommended

Pizza had a hair in it! Soft drinks were watered down. We ended up going to McDonald's afterwards.

A pizzeria with delicious food and historic views. Last night. The pizza is delicious and only for 1 person if you are very hungry. The pasta, large plate, also highly recommended, delicious, to enjoy. Prices for the environment not too high. Service very friendly, helpful and attentive. On the forecourt of the Golden Roof a very good place to let the historical work on and let it end a nice day. Only the bill lasted a bit longer because the boss with absence shone ... but the service with your nice nature that made up for it ,

In the city center with stunning views of the famous golden roof honest pizzeria Whereas it was in Austria.The kids wanted pizza and so ...Contrary to what described by others the pizza was good, thin and tasty.Quick and efficient service.Cash payment only.

The service was friendly and fast, but unfortunately the food did not taste. Never have I eaten so bad pasta. The pizza from my friend was not tasty either.

The food was really horrible, e.g. B. My spaghetti was overcooked and a very small portion. The service was very professional. The sanitary facility was impossible to use without disgust.

The place is a bit tired, but not too dirty. The service is slow, this is because the staff is literally composed of 3-4 people. The food is eatable, and only half-liter bottles are used which fill with tap water. They do not accept payments by credit card, but only cash. However, I appreciated that the waitress understood at least a little Italian.Enter only if strictly necessary.

I highly recommend not to stop for dinner or lunch. The pizza, for sure frozen, is a distant relative of the food to which we are accustomed. Furthermore the room appeared to be not very clean. only positive note is located in the city center.

Acts like a fast food restaurant. Service nice but spoke only English, food was terrible! Even the staircase evokes the same effect as the sight of the restaurant. It's not food .... Rather a feed
